Giant Killer Review in “Giant Killer Squid”
If I weren’t already married, I’d ask Auburn for her hand. She’s the reviewer of Nemesis in Giant Killer Squid. I’ve been doing theater for 15 years and never in my life have I read anything like this. I mean, Auburn GOT IT.
I think I’m gonna cry!
Here are some nuggets: “Unlike any comic I’ve had the pleasure of reading…. the book’s sense of humor prevails over all else… this is the kind of comic you need to read under the covers with a flashlight for the full effect.” But then she goes on to talk about the radio drama and the live-action graphic novel and she says: “But these guys don’t just take a radio drama and turn it into a comic book. Why stop there? Let’s do a radio drama, in front of a theater full of people AND show the sequential art up on the big screen? Does that work? Yes. Yes it does. It’s what they call a ‘Live-Action Graphic Novel’ and it’s absolutely fantastic.”
I love you Auburn!
Check out the entire awesome review!
