Special Event this Thursday!
Boy, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Too long, in fact! Anyway, this Thursday, July 1, we have an awesome special event coming up in celebration of the fact that tix for the Long Center premiere of the Live-Action Graphic Novel go on sale that day (the show itself is Sept. 3 and 4). We’re teaming up with Foleyvision for a one-of-a-kind super-duper-fun performance/screening at the Alamo Ritz. Read on!

With “The Intergalactic Nemesis Live-Action Graphic Novel, Episode Five”
The wizards of Foleyvision take FLASH GORDON’S TRIP TO MARS (1938) and add live dubbing: live voice actors, live sound effects, live music, right in the theater for a ridiculously entertaining, one-of-a-kind show! In celebration of tickets finally being on sale for the September 3 and 4 Long Center presentation of the Live-Action Graphic Novel known as The Intergalactic Nemesis , the Nemesis folks have teamed up with Foleyvision for this one-time-only screening! First the live short: The Intergalactic Nemesis Episode Five. Three actors -- dozens of characters. One Foley artist -- hundreds of sounds. One keyboardist -- thousands of notes, and hundreds of blow-your-mind comic-book images blast from the screen! Then, the feature: FLASH GORDON’S TRIP TO MARS dubbed LIVE. When Ming the Merciless projects a deadly ray from Mars to extract all of the nitrogen from Earth’s atmosphere, it’s up to Flash and his pals to use awesome special effects to save the world from destruction! Join us as we make the Alamo Ritz ground zero for interstellar insanity!!
