Rossum Date: 24.631.83
It’s been exactly one year since the Cerebretron sacrificed himself and made me king of Rossum. And what a year it’s been. Between cloaking device upgrades, readiness preparations, and playing Solomon to a bunch of confused tin cans (though they’re my tin cans and I love ‘em!), ruling the Robot Planet has been quite a job. Of course, the biggest challenge was the Mole. Who knew our defenses could be so crippled.

It started the morning of 23.482.50. The warning signal in the Crystal Palace began to chime. I consulted with the main control panel, but every gauge read within its normal parameters. On the surface, there was nothing wrong, which is probably why it called itself the “Mole.” But underneath…

I hit the red reset button on the main console to silence the warning signal. All was quiet. Too quiet, I thought, because today was third-day and normally when I consulted with the governors of the many MetroZones that spread across the face of Rossum. Yet, inexplicably, when I tried to video conference them in, all I got was white noise. Yet the gauges all read “all systems normal”.

Uh oh. Gotta go. Incoming message from Zone 41239a. More later.
