Our story begins…
The year is 1933. Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Molly Sloan and her intrepid research assistant Timmy Mendez are researching a story in Transylvania when they discover a strange map. Suddenly, their lives are in danger, only to be rescued by a mysterious stranger. Soon, they join forces with this stranger to defeat a sinister invasion of Earth by the Zygonians, a sludge-based life form from another galaxy. By the time our adventurers have unraveled the mystery, they have traveled across Europe, to the Effdillinplitzenpire Galaxy, to a Robot Planet, and finally to the home world of the Zygonians: Imperial Zygon. Can they defeat these creatures? Will Molly and Ben requite their hidden passions? Does Timmy have a secret that even he doesn’t know he possesses?

Locations:
Earth. The blue marble. We’ll travel from Central Europe to Scotland, across the Alps, and to North Africa before we take off to the stars…

The Robot Planet. Yes, a robot planet. Ruled by a benevolent supercomputer known as the Cerebretron. His mammoth calculating skills allow him to predict the future. And he has never been wrong.

The Planet Zygon. Home to the most sinister race of creatures in the Effdillinplitzenpire Galaxy, a sludge-based life form that has conquered not one, but two galaxies. These creatures can control the minds of their victims, have an appetite for alien flesh, and have their sights set on the invasion of Earth.

The Characters:
Molly Sloan, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and daughter of the millionaire publisher William Randolf Sloan. She’s tough as nails and never misses a beat. She left her fiance at the altar to chase down the story that won her first Pulitzer. Now she’s chasing down a lead that might just win her a second.

Timmy Mendez, Molly’s brilliant and intrepid assistant. Native Texan. Harvard graduate. He left the pig farm to the live the life of a jet-setter. His naivete is his strength and his weakness.

Ben Wilcott, mysterious stranger, librarian from Flagstaff. He’s the only one who knows first-hand the terror of the Zygonians, but his story is so outrageous that no one will believe him. Can he convince Molly and Timmy in time to save the planet?

Jean-Pierre Desperois, Algerian freedom fighter with a terrible secret. He never turns down work for the highest biddeer. He might just be the most dangerous man on the continent.

Mysterion the Magnificent, world famous mesmerist and entertainer. Can control the mind of anyone under his gaze. He’s got a skill with medieval torture devices, and he isn’t afraid to use it.
